Event Overview
From October 14th to 16th, 2023, Island Reefers had the privilege of visiting the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo for an informative forum focused on the latest innovations and trends in aquarium design, marine life management, and cutting-edge aquarium technologies.
Our team explored state-of-the-art exhibits, engaged with international experts, and gathered valuable insights to bring world-class aquarium solutions back to the Maldives. This visit reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional marine experiences for our clients, resorts, and enthusiasts.
Our Contribution
To enhance the learning experience, Island Reefers designed and installed interactive small freshwater demonstration tanks on site. These live systems allowed participants to:
Observe ecosystem balance in real time
Understand filtration and water quality basics
Learn proper aquarium setup principles
Experience hands-on aquatic education
The demonstration tanks served as practical learning tools, helping bridge the gap between theory and real-world application.
