Arrival & First Impressions
The team arrived in Singapore and began exploring the S.E.A. Aquarium’s large-scale exhibits, observing innovative tank engineering, immersive display concepts, and visitor experience design. The day focused on understanding how world-leading aquariums combine technology and storytelling to create impactful marine environments.
Exhibition & Industry Networking
Day two was dedicated to the exhibition, where Island Reefers connected with industry professionals, suppliers, and aquarium experts. The team explored the latest aquarium equipment, filtration innovations, and sustainable marine system technologies, gaining valuable insights for future projects.
Technical Learning & Inspiration
The team spent the third day studying behind-the-scenes operations, system layouts, and life-support strategies used in large public aquariums. This learning experience provided practical knowledge that helps enhance Island Reefers’ approach to commercial and resort aquarium projects.
